Forevermore Records was founded in 1991, but our history dates back to 1957 as Masters Releasing, Inc. of Buffalo, New York. The label was founded by legendary record mogul Steve Brodie and nephew Christopher Biehler, originally to release some of their (over) 10,000 masters from the late 50’s through the early 70’s.
Our Story
Forevermore Records was founded in 1991, but our history dates back to 1957 as Masters Releasing, Inc. of Buffalo, New York. The label was founded by legendary record mogul Steve Brodie and nephew Christopher Biehler, originally to release some of their (over) 10,000 masters from the late 50’s through the early 70’s, from the Thunderbird, Sahara, Swan and Lawn catalogs of music Forevermore is the worldwide legitimate Federal Courts approved rights owner of the Swan catalog and label.
Forevermore has evolved from initially being an oldies reissue label to an award winning and highly acclaimed R&B, Blues, Doo Wop, Southern Soul, Carolina Beach and Northern & Modern Soul music enterprise. Producer Christopher Biehler has worked with many notable artists such as Bill Doggett, Hank Ballard, Danny & the Juniors, Jay Proctor and the incomparable Russell Thompkins, Jr. & the Stylistics.

Russell Thompkins, Jr. and the New Stylistics performing in Atlantic City, June 14th, during the PBS Special – The Philly International Records Show! “Love Train”. The show will air nationally on PBS in December. Other artists on the show included the Three Degrees, Bunny Sigler, Jerry Butler, Teddy Pendergrass, Intruders, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, GC Cameron, Jean Carne, and the O’Jays. The show was hosted by legendary Philadelphia DJ Jerry Blavat (the Geator with the Heator).

The new Russell Thompkins, Jr. album: “The Lost Love Songs” is out.
Forevermore Records is proud to announce the release of the third solo album by the original lead singer of the Stylistics: Russell Thompkins, Jr. entitled “The Lost Love Songs”. This release continues the legacy of Smooth R&B by this extraordinary and legendary falsetto singer.
The Lost Love Songs contains 11 tracks that are authentic Philadelphia Soul Music at its very best!! Originally, recorded in the fall of 1997, the project was thought to be lost because of the challenge presented by the limitations of early digital recording technology. The master recordings were resurrected when technology had advanced enough in 2008 to finally present them properly to the world.
